The Controller will oversee the accounting functions for both companies within Marmon Crane US, providing strong leadership support, expert guidance while ensuring financial compliance. You will play a key role in shaping the division’s future by delivering hands-on leadership support to both company Finance departments Duties and responsibilities Ensure the integrity of the accounting information and accurate Marmon SPI compliant financial statements through strong hands-on leadership, internal controls, and accounting knowledge. Improve and implement new processes to ensure continued improvement and innovation. Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with growth objectives. Manage budgeting processes, monitor variances, and recommend corrective actions to optimize financial performance. Oversee cost accounting functions and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Partner with senior management to translate financial data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. Travel as required (20%) Lead or assist in special projects as assigned. Qualifications BA or BS in Accounting CPA preferred 5 years senior accounting role Demonstrated ethical decision-making skills while possessing the experience to proactively approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, focusing on finding effective solutions Proven track record of success in fast paced environment Strong operational acumen with ability to identify and analyze business trends Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with remote teams Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into clear and concise reports for diverse audiences Working conditions Salaried, hybrid position with hours mainly Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Physical requirements Manual dexterity, auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
